Artist Kristi Hager was commissioned by the Montana Department of Transportation to document historic bridges scheduled for replacement, restoration, or inclusion in the book, Conveniences Sorely Needed:  Montana's Historic Highway Bridges, 1860-1956,  by Jon Axline, MDT historian.  The Montana Historical Society Press published the book in 2005.  This exhibition is presented courtesy of the Montana Department of Transportation.
