| Member Area Map | Water Plant Road Telephone: (406) 234-0635 Mark Browning, DirectorJaime Burkhalter, Administrative Assistant Housed in the former municipal water plant holding tanks, the Center is located in a park on the Yellowstone River one third mile west of Miles City (pop.9,600.) Since opening in 1977, it has provided a showcase for visual artists through Western, contemporary, solo, and group exhibitions. Regular features include: the Western Art Roundup, Southeastern Montana Juried Show, Art Auction and Exhibition, and a miniature show. Workshops, classes and other programs fill the calendar. The Center is open to the public, without admission, Tuesdays through Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Summer Hours (May-September) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. |
