The C.M. Russell Museum focuses on the art and life of Charles M. Russell and his contemporaries, and on the historical art of the West preceding Russell as well as contemporary art of the West. Included within the C. M. Russell Museum complex is the Museum building, the Russell Home built in 1900, and the Russell Log Studio built in 1903. The latter two are on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Primary Emphasis is on research on the West resulting in publications, exhibitions, collection loans and educational programs. |
