The Holter Museum of Art is a major visual arts center located in a renovated 1885 stone building in downtown Helena. The Museum is directly downhill from the Cathedral of St. Helena and one-half block off Last Chance Gulch. The Museum exhibits quality work of all media in periods from historical to contemporary. Exhibitions change on a regular basis. All are part of a major education program planned for diverse audiences and include sponsorship of related arts events. Educational tours are provided to groups coming to the Museum as part of a Capital City visit.
