Witness to a period of changing American history, Lochrie captured an uncomplicated view of the Montana landscape and the native people inhabiting it -- most notably, the Blackfeet Nation situated in the northwestern portion of Montana. She left an impressive legacy of her own work and of the people she encountered.
From the permanent collection of the Holter Museum of Art with loans from The Montana Historical Society and the Arts Chateau of Butte, Montana.
