The Montana Museum of Art & Culture exhibits and preserves works of art for the education of students, the enjoyment of the public and academic research. Begun in 1894 and with a Permanent Collection that contains more than 9,000 original works, it is the largest art institution owned by the State. It serves faculty, staff and students of The University of Montana and the general public.
